Cod, pollack and catfish are the most common species, but it is also possible to catch a huge halibut. The area has many good lakes with trout and char. Ice fishing in mountain lakes is a popular activity in April/May. Fishing licenses required for lake fishing. Many small rivers with salmon and sea trout in the area .
