Holiday house in an open landscape by the sea on beautiful Hamarøy. Panoramic views of the coastal landscape. Sunny and child-friendly plot. Great hiking terrain for the whole family. Good sea fishing. The house was built in 1820 and restored over several years, including new kitchen fittings. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom with a single bed. In the attic there are 2 bedrooms, one with double bed with comfortable mattress and one with 2 single beds. There is a steep staircase to the attic! In the living room there is a wood stove, broadband with good capacity, and 50-inch TV with Norwegian and international channels. In the small garden room and on the terrace you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise in the east. From the house and the terrace there are magnificent views of the sea, idyllic islands, and the mountain landscape to the east. It is 200 m to the sea which is very rich in fish. In the area there are several fishing lakes where fishing can be done by buying a fishing license. Great starting point for day trips by car, i.a. to the Hamsun Center which was built by the famous author Knut Hamsun's childhood home, to the village Tranøy with studio and café. Day trips to Lofoten can be made by car ferry from Skutvik to Svolvær (no fee, status june 2022). For rent: 1x15 foot boat with 25 hp 4-stroke engine for rent at the floating pier, 900 m from the house. THE BOAT IS AVAILABLE 15.5-15.9. Not for rent for sport fishing groups.
