Positive: Our stay at Las Contingas Hotel was mixed. While the staff were consistently helpful and the room size was impressive, several structural and comfort-related issues affected the overall quality of the stay. Positives • The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. • Staff members were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist. • Despite the hotel being located on a hill with many stairs, the team helped us with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. • The on-site restaurant offers decent meals at fair prices.

Negative: • There is no soundproofing or proper insulation; gaps between window panes and around the door were large enough to let in noise, insects, and outside air. • Hot water was unavailable on several days. • There was a nighttime power outage during our stay, resulting in no AC and increased bug activity entering through the structural gaps. • The furniture and towels appear worn and mismatched, giving the impression that many items are second-hand or leftover materials. • Our room did not have an ocean view; instead, it overlooked the main courtyard, where noise from the kitchen and reception carried until staff finished their shifts.
