Hiking is also a possibility during the summer and winter. In the winter time there is a good chance of seeing the popular northern lights away from the city lights. The location provides a large tent with outdoor furniture and also a place to barbecue. If you enjoy randonee skiing, Lyngen is a great place to do so (only a 2 hour drive). Fishing permits will have to be purchased, more information will be provided upon request.
