refreshing mountain breezes, and ceiling fans throughout, the home stays naturally cool

Casa Alegre is ideally situated one hour from San José Airport and 50 minutes from the
Pacific and Jacó Beach. At 2,100 feet above sea level, the mountain breezes and altitude
mean you can escape the mosquitoes and high humidity found in the country’s lower
altitudes. The year-round temperatures range from 75–85 during the day, dropping to the
comfortable mid-60s at night.
The property has a private gated entrance, washer/dryer, four-car garage, and ample
parking for your comfort. The town of Orotina, “the Fruit Capital of Costa Rica,” is a ten-
minute drive away, offering all the essentials you may need. There are several excellent
restaurants within a 15-minute drive, and many more in the town of Atenas, 25 minutes
away.
The owners of this newly renovated home have provided “all the features we’ve looked for
in rentals,” including good chef’s knives, cooking utensils and serveware, high thread-count
