Great and spacious holiday home with outdoor swimming pool on Tromøya outside Arendal. The pool is not heated, but this can be booked in advance at the tenant's expense by contacting the owner well in advance of arrival. The house is spread over two levels and has room for 10 people. The holiday house is located in the Øyna cottage area on a small hill overlooking Tromøysundet. The first floor has a living room with an open kitchen and dining area. Exit to a beautiful garden with a lawn, as well as a stone-paved terrace. The pool area is shielded from the neighbor with a hedge and living wall. There is also a small cubicle in the house for changing facilities and a rough cleaning sink for cleaning fish etc. Further on the ground floor there is an entrance hall, laundry room, bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a bedroom with a double bed. On the 2nd floor there is a bathroom with shower cubicle and toilet, 4 bedrooms and a small TV room with sofa. The pool is closed from October to May due to frost. Boats and kayaks can be rented in connection with the stay. The boats are available between May and September. The Øyna area in the north-east of Tromøya has hiking areas and bathing spots from rocky cliffs. It is warm and comfortable on the north-west side towards Tromøysundet and more weather-exposed and fresh on the outside facing south-east, where Skagerak is the closest neighbour. Fine fishing opportunities and short distances both from land and by boat, either in Tromøysundet and innaskjær, or if you want to go out on the open sea. On Tromøya you will find the town of Kongshavn with cafes, groceries and some shops, while Arendal is just over the bridge with everything a southern town can offer.
