In winter it is world renown Lyngen Alphs skiing area with arctic snow conditions, mostly powder snow. You may see the Aurora at the end of your skiing in the afternoon. Go to my neighbor and he will take you on the local trails through the forest and have overviews over the fjord and the Alphs in one magnificent picturesque moment.
