Positive: The Okinawan style house is nestled with 4-5 other villas in a secure area, gate closes at 9 PM. All beautifully landscaped providing just enough privacy. Interior is open layout and can see the intricate structural beams in the high ceiling, beautiful. Very nice pool area with wood decking. The hibachi grill cost extra ¥6000 yen but it’s worth grilling by the pool as you chat. There is also an outdoor private bath. There’s even a grand piano in the living room making for musical and fun time. Amazing!

Negative: The check-in process could be better. The property staff will call on the day of your stay in the morning and if you don’t answer then you have to find the staff when you arrive and they don’t speak much English. Call the booking.com number and they will give you the property owner phone number but it’s just a push button selection and the recording is only in Japanese. I called the booking .com rep and he contacted the owner who sent staff to meet me in the parking lot. It appears there is staff in the complex all day up until 9 PM when they come to collect the BBQ grill. They will give you the code for a lockbox where the key for the front door is.
