Positive: The location was great. The room was a bit bigger than most Japanese business hotels. Also, I couldn't smell any cigarette smoke, so that was a plus.

Negative: After I self-checked in at 2:50pm and headed to the elevator, the guy at the front desk came running over and yelled at me in front of the other guests that I had to wait until EXACTLY 3pm to go up to my room. A more customer-friendly response might have been "Let me check if your room is ready, oh I see housekeeping is still working on it, I'll let you know when it's ready" or " Let me check if your room is ready, oh I see it is, please go ahead". Just a little difference in attitude would have made the start to my stay a little more pleasant.

Summary: It was fine, guy at the front desk needs training.
