At the lake Vangsmjøsa is a boat for free use. The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) has many cabins in this area, which are connected to each other by marked trails. From the cottage it is not far to cross-country skiing opportunities. The area offers great excursions both in summer and winter, both on foot and by bike. From the parking lot and up to the house there is a 20 meter staircase (difficult for people with mobility impairments).
