Welcome to our country casita; a peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of Lagartillo, Costa Rica. This charming studio features a second floor guest room with a bed, and private bath, and basic cooking amenities.
The Casita does not have a kitchen, but does have a hot stove, coffee maker and cooking supplies.
The casita shares the land with a larger home.
The space
The property is a little under an acre located in the heart of a the fishing town of Lagartillo. Our neighbors have lived in the area for generations. There are country sounds of roasters, dogs, chickens, cows, horses and monkeys. The casita is on the second floor and the sound of the ocean can be heard at high tide. There is also a fresh breeze on most days.
We have two homes on the property and a full time property manager that lives on the property as well.
Be ready to relax, surf, read and enjoy the true beauty of Costa Rica - all that Lagartillo has to offer you!

Small guest house located next to the main house. The casita does not have a kitchen, but we do provide a coffee maker, hot stove, and small refrigerator and blender. Plus cooking supplies.
The property has two dogs that are very friendly.
The home is located in a small fishing town with nearby neighbors, animals, and the sound of the ocean at high tide.

Other things to note
We are in Costa Rica and there are times when the water, electricity or internet goes out. We will try our best to get it back an running, but I need to let you know up-front, CR is very slow at fixing things. So patients is important.
It's a good idea to come with food and drinks as Lagatillo does not have stores to buy food or drinks. The nearest store would be the town of Paraiso.
Also, I recommend you rent a car so to see all the surrounding beaches, small towns and enjoy eating out in Playa Negra, La Esquina, or a further drive, Tamaindo.
