Our holiday home is the perfect place to relax on the deck with a glass of local wine in peaceful surroundings, while the children play on the large section and explore the hills which are visible from the deck.
Located within easy walking distance to the shops, and many quality cafes and restaurants, some of which which offer a courtesy coach.
The famous Rail Trail is one block back. Walking, running and cycling tracks are aplenty, catering for all abilities. The track running along the Clutha River from Alexandra to Clyde (12km) is both shaded in summer and spectacular in Autumn.
Lake Dunstan offers swimming and boating, whilst the river caters for the fisherman.
Several fine wineries many offering tastings are all close by, with Bannockburn and it's many wineries is about 20 mins drive away.
Alexandra Golf Course is close by, also Clyde Golf Course.
Historic Clyde is only 8 km away, which offers fine cafes, movie theatre and wonderful old stone buildings.
While beautiful Wanaka and Queenstown are only an hours drive away, our home offers a relaxing place to come home too.
