Summary: Such a wonderful place to stay in Bergen. 3 stories with two bedrooms/one bathroom on the bottom level (including a full size washer/dryer), kitchen/dining/living on 2nd floor, and a 3rd floor with a powder room, 3 beds and a small sitting area. The location is perfect, only a short walk to many restaurants/stores and about a 10 minute walk to the port area. Therese was a very responsive host and also gave us late checkout due to an afternoon flight. The house was stocked with kitchen essentials including a full bag of coffee, shampoo, and laundry detergent. The only (minor) downsides are that a few lightbulbs are burned out, the spiral staircase is rather steep, and cobblestones in the surrounding area make it difficult to roll suitcases from the train station. The neighbors did party some and they’re very close, but the noise stopped at precisely 11pm. We were 6 guests ranging from 6-70 years old and floor plan worked fine. As previous reviews mentioned, I wouldn’t recommend for under age 4 or much above age 70.
