This modern new build is nestled in the jungle with the sounds of nature surrounding you. Centrally located a short walk/drive to the town of Samara and beach.
From the light-filled kitchen/living area to beautiful outdoor oasis, this home is spacious, & comfortable with 2 bedrooms (king beds) & 2 bathrooms. You can enjoy on-site parking, a full kitchen, laundry, A/C, designated office space (perfect for remote work) WiFi, indoor/outdoor seating all complimented with beautiful teak ceilings.
The space
Casa El Chante is a new build, aproximately 1 year old, located only a few minutes to Playa Samara and Playa Carillo. You can also find a beautiful conversation area (Bosque Conservación), directly across the street which has hiking paths filled with howler monkeys and butterflies.
When entering the property, you will see a large covered parking area which is private, safe and off the main road. You will also see beautiful landscaping filled with hummingbirds and butterflies, a lush yard of grass and propane BBQ for your use.
As you walk into the covered outdoor area, you will see a 6 seater table, hammocks inviting you to relax and rocking chairs situated by the pool, an ideal way to enjoy your morning coffee and a book. The private pool has a designated shallow area, perfect to sit in and several pool floaties to soak in the Pura Vida essence! With 100sqm of outdoor living, you can be sure to enjoy the outdoors and relax in the shade - perfect for your next family getaway!
When entering the living room you will see a handmade sectional couch, a large island, which seats 4 people and a full kitchen (all full appliances). Whirlpool fridge/freezer, oven and dishwasher. You can also expect small appliances like a coffee maker and a Ninja blender. You will find a full set of dishes, glasses and any cookware you may need.
Both bedrooms have king size beds and a single bed, sleeping up to 3 people in each room - perfect for families. Each room has blackout blinds and sliding doors to access the outdoor area. You will also find dressers and hangers for your clothing.
Perfect for the remote worker, there is a designated working area which has a beautiful handmade teak desk, ergonomic chair and laptop stand. In this area, you will also find a stationary bike and a set of weights (5lbs, 10lbs, 15lbs).
There are A/C units in each room. And the house has reliable and strong WIFI throughout.
A surfboard will also be available, and included in your stay, should you want to try surfing!
As pet owners, and volunteers of the local pet rescue, we welcome you to bring your furry friend to enjoy you on your vacation. The property is completed fenced in for their safety.
This is our primary home and we appreciate your respect for the property and the land.

Guests will enjoy the entire property with the exception of a storage unit in the back of the property.
Other things to note
There may be times we are travelling around Costa Rica, or are in Canada visiting family, however, we can be available by phone or text as needed.
We also have a reliable and fantastic local team who help to manage our house. You can expect a cleaner, who cleans each Friday for long term stays and will be available for help, if needed. We also have a gardener who helps maintain the property and comes every other week on Wednesday. Our pool cleaner comes weekly on Mondays.
