Summary: A very personal, family-run place with exceptionally kind owners who really go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and included. The host is chatty, speaks good English, and even took everyone out in the morning to see a great view of Mount Fuji — a lovely gesture, though maybe a bit much if you prefer privacy or a quieter stay. The property itself is older and simple, with limited amenities, and the meals were fine but basic. Overall a friendly and memorable experience, but probably better suited for travelers who enjoy social, home-style lodging rather than a more traditional hotel setup.
