Positive: We loved our stay at Hatepe, it was like a good friend had lent you their holiday home. The lodge was spacious comfortable and very well equipped, you could stay here indefinitely. Hatepe is beautiful in its own right but also accessible to the attractions to the South of lake Taupo and just a short drive to Taupo town. You could reach all you would want to see in the area in less than an hour.
