Summary: We opted for the smaller sized rooms mainly because it was the cheaper option. The room was very clean and it was completely adequate for what we needed. Slight downside to the smaller room was there wasn’t a table or anywhere to put anything. We made it work, but for some, this could be problematic. The pressure of the water in the shower was pretty decent. They aren’t offering cleaning services for short stays currently, but if you need anything, the staff would be able to help you out. Despite the hotel have some members of staff on strike (mainly housekeeping and restaurant staff), the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Everything is practically on your doorstep! Oslo itself isn’t very big and we managed to walk to everything. For others, the bus stop/tram stop is easily accessible and just up the street from the hotel. The bus terminus and train station are about a ten minutes walk away. The room didn’t come with tea/coffee making facilities but after reading somebody else’s review, the reception staff provided us with a kettle, no problem. Breakfast had a lovely variety of options which would suit most people. There was even a gluten free section, away from the other foods meaning they catered for people with dietary issues. Overall, the hotel had what we needed and was clean. Friendly staff, from reception to the restaurant staff. Lovely hotel.
