With amazing sea views of the Castlepoint Bay. The top floor is all open plan, 3 sides glass with areas for dining, lounging and looking at the views super cozy with fire for colder nights. Great for holiday catch ups or reunions with family and friends. Amazing kitchen facilities with heaps of crockery/cutlery/ glassware and full kitchen setup.
For the cooler months there is a fire and wood supplied. Awesome and cozy to sit and watch the sea after a walk.
There is a balcony around 3 sides of the property for indoor / outdoor living and the back balcony comes to ground level for BBQs etc. from the back of the property you can view the Castlepoint light house or walk into the DOC reserve and view the reef, gap and lagoon.
Amazing walks to lighthouse, DOC walking track a short walk behind the property leading to the top of Castle rock.
Wi fi and smart TV Netflix, Sky and sport channels available plus DVD player .
Golf course a short drive away, next to Whakataki Hotel, Clubs and trundler at Number 44 for guests use. Bring your own balls.
A short walk down the hill brings you to the beautiful beachfront
with the Castlepoint store and cafe .
The Whakataki Hotel has now reopened under new management , great meals eat in or takeaway and fully licensed bar . Only a few minutes drive from property.

This house is really suitable for 3 families. Bed configuration not suitable for lots of singles.
The cleaning fee Is a compulsory as the house is always checked and thoroughly cleaned prior for every guests arrival. All surfaces are cleaned and disinfected and extra special cleaning in light of the recent covid 19 virus prior to all guests arriving.
PLEASE NOTE : Bedding supplied but you need to bring your own linen (sheets, pillowcases and towels.) Linen can be supplied as an extra cost. Also as are all the houses in Castlepoint tank water is the main source of all water please be aware especially in summer to conserve water. We use it for drinking but you may wish to bring your own drinking water
Guests are required to leave house tidy as on arrival and dishes done.
