Well known for its beautiful nature, Hamarøy and the beautiful coastal landscape invites to hikes along the sea with idyllic sandy beaches and inland on the island. Midnight sun in the summer. Great sea fishing. The house consists of 2 apartments, one of which is rented out. The other is unoccupied. Cozily decorated in a country style with pine walls and ceilings. Living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a double bedroom downstairs. A large bedroom upstairs with 3 single beds, two of which can be made into a double bed. Satellite TV with many international channels and free internet for surfing (possible to stream one or two movies a week). The holiday home is in a quiet and open landscape and has a sunny terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. Child-friendly outdoor area. 450 m to the sea with idyllic, shallow sandy beaches. Great place for kayaking and biking. Many nice hiking trails nearby, including to the mountain Salen 476 masl. with magnificent views of the ocean. Rod fishing in the sea can be done from the rocks along the sea. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Vestfjord towards the Lofoten Mountains. The beautiful spring and summer evenings with sunset and midnight sun are a magnificent experience. You can visit Tranøy lighthouse nearby which has been a sailing mark along the sea for the boats for a long time. Tranøy has 2 art galleries. The Hamsun Center contains a lot of history about the author Knut Hamsun. Boats, kayak and canoe for rent at Camp Hamarøy on Presteid, 15 km from the house. Parking spaces by the house.
