NB: Remember to bring linen and towels, as this can ONLY be rented on request and well in advance. SUMMERTIME: The summer in the area is usually hot and dry. The mountains and national parks provide good conditions for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding, cycling, and hunting. If you want to fish, Bjorli and Lesja can tempt you with more than 250 fishing lakes and rivers, the closest being Lesjaskogvannet 15 km away with trout. Fishing for trout up to 800g and salmon in the river Rauma, approx. 10 km from the holiday home. Remember fishing license for fishing in the river Rauma. Lesja parachute club is the country's only club with its own airport, and if you like speed and excitement, you can also get the adrenaline in a go-kart or on the paintball court. If you want to experience local culture and ancient traditions, you can visit the open-air museum Lesja Bygdemuseum, about 40 km from the holiday home. The yard consists of 12 houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Next to the museum is Lesja church from 1749, famous for its magnificent wood carving art. Remember to stop at the country store Avdemsbue with local cheese and other products from Nord-Gudbrandsdalen. Bjorli Ski Center has 6 ski lifts, of which a 6-seater express chair lift, own children's lift, own mountain lift, 11 slopes in all levels of difficulty and with a total length at 19.6 km. Bjorli Ski Center is one of the facilities with the longest ski season in Norway, from November to May. Distance to cross-country trails and light trails are 50 meters from the holiday home.
